I knitted the sweater sample that Marie mentioned from the Sweater Workshop when I first started knitting sweaters. It was both fun and interesting to do.autumngeishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03999159092655986251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2363011369539287611.post-66882935397785029442013-03-22T17:28:05.366-07:002013-03-22T17:28:05.366-07:00Learn by doing. I always think I'm so big, so I add to patterns. And then it all ends up huge :(<br />Oh, except the sleeves which are often shortened when I run out of patience, yarn or both!<br /><br />Love the idea of phoney seams. Looks like I'm going to have to pick up a Barbara Walker reference to learn a bit more.Minding My Own Stitcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13946752212001968413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2363011369539287611.post-76790332754982478532013-03-22T08:23:31.114-07:002013-03-22T08:23:31.114-07:00Awesome project! She has you make a big swatch (kind of like a sleeve) where you practice all elements of a sweater in a smaller form first.Marie/Underground Crafterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698493852757742648noreply@blogger.com
